Harvest Party

August 17, 2011This is the time of year when we start thinking about temperatures dipping below 80 degrees and (dare we say it) maybe we will be enjoying our jeans and sweatshirts again soon! It is also the time of year when our gardens are harvesting and we have once again made it through a successful growing season.Although the growing season is not quite over, it is a great time to begin to think about having a Harvest Party or some sort of celebration of your garden. There are many benefits to having such a "party." 1) Encourages your gardeners to celebrate their hard work 2) Lets others know about your garden and your organization 3) Can be a great way to engage the neighborhood 4) It's fun!
