Enter Your Produce in the Douglas County Fair

Join the fun and enter your garden produce in the 2011 Douglas County Fair. The fair will run from September 22-25 at the Qwest Center Omaha.
There are a variety of farm and garden categories, including vegetables, unusual produce, collections of garden produce, cut herbs and a specific community garden division. For an unlimited amount of farm and garden entries there is a $5 entry fee.
Produce being entered can be dropped of at the Qwest Center on Tuesday, September 21 until 7 p.m. Judging will take place on September 22.
Community gardens are eligible to enter any division and not just the one labeled community garden. Both individuals from a garden and the garden itself can enter divisions for particular vegetables.
United Methodist Ministries’ executive director Stephanie Ahlschwede will be serving as the superintendent of this years Farm and Garden competition.
